A big thank you to everyone who has made the past 22 years possible! We could not have done it without every single staff member, funder, client, volunteer, donor, and partner. We owe all of you everything.
The key to SEEDS success is collaboration! We team up with others who also want to implement local solutions to global challenges and get the job done. Our partners range from schools to parks to community organizations and more!
Take the Giving Garden as an example.
The Giving Garden is fertilized with compost from Oryana Community Co-op, who hires EcoCorps to manage their compost bins. The SEEDS Farm is operated with support by Poesis Farm, our residential farmers, and is located at Historic Barns Park.
Historic Barns Park is owned by the City of Traverse City and Garfield Township Recreational Authority, and we are one of three management partners, including the Botanic Gardens at Historic Barns Park and the Traverse City Community Garden. Generous funders like the Carl Foundation support expansion projects.
By working together, we make projects like the Giving Garden happen across Michigan. You can be a part of the solution too! Make a donation today!
