SEEDS Farm continues the tradition of agriculture at Historic Barns Park, and we are happy to announce that the 2020 SEEDS garlic harvest is delish!
Our varietal, "Music" is a hard-neck variety that is hardy, likes cold weather, stores well, and has large cloves that are easy to peel.
SEEDS won ‘Best Garlic’ at the 2015 Garlic Auction hosted by Crosshatch Center for Art and Ecology and many others have successfully grown it including our executive director and Food Corps members at the Interlochen Community School!
Want to grow your own? You can!
Plant garlic in the fall and get an early spring jump start for your garden. We have sorted out the largest bulbs best for replanting. SEEDS' "seed garlic" is available for your garden for only $30/pound! Order soon to get it in the ground before the deep freeze!
Culinary garlic to eat right now!
Culinary garlic is available in cute bundles of three for $5. A delicious addition to your kitchen and also a great gift of health to share with others. Orders will be available for pick up by appointment at SEEDS offices in Traverse City. Pick up begins the week of September 28th.
