Interested in ecology, forestry, sustainability, permaculture, food systems, green construction or renewable energy? Are you passionate about the preserving nature? Ready to leave a lasting legacy of service?
We are currently looking to hire Crew Leaders, Assistant Crew Leaders, and entry level adults (as young as 16) for positions in Traverse City, Manistee County, and other parts of Northwestern Michigan. SEEDS EcoCorps is an experiential green collar career exploration program that provides job training, marketable skills, and the opportunity to “earn while you learn.” Following seasonal employment with EcoCorps, our staff are frequently hired to work in public lands.

EcoCorps staff gain hands-on work experience while serving their local communities and helping to restore, beautify, and preserve natural habitats in Michigan. 2022 projects include work with the Huron Manistee National Forest, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy, North Country Trail and more. Come build trails, restore habitats, preserve wetlands, and grow clean food with SEEDS EcoCorps!
