Interested in ecology, forestry, sustainability, permaculture, food systems, green construction or renewable energy? Do you learn best by doing? Want to work outside? Ready to leave a lasting legacy of service?
We are currently looking to hire adults (as young as 16) in Traverse City, Benzie, Manistee, and other parts of Northwestern Michigan. SEEDS EcoCorps is an experiential green collar career exploration program that provides job training, marketable skills, and the opportunity to “earn while you learn.” EcoCorps crew members gain hands-on work experience while serving their local communities and helping to restore, beautify, and preserve natural habitats in Michigan.
Our EcoCorps members have gone on to work as professionals in the sciences, construction and electrical trades, agriculture, community development, the media and arts, and for state and federal park systems. The wide variety of experiences you will receive as an EcoCorps member provide gateways to job opportunities!
