SEEDS After School provided thousands of contact hours of quality learning opportunities in the 2016/17 school year including:

  • 13,185 hours of Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) programming

  • 7,096 hours of Arts & Culture activities

  • 1,515 hours Energy and Environmental programming 

  • 11,665 hours of physical activity 

  • 7,095 hours of culinary learning 

  • 4,873 hours of special events and field trips for continued learning

  • 4,543 hours of youth development programming 

 

Overall, compared to the state average, SEEDS After School students reported more:

  • opportunities for governance/decision making (60%  SEEDS: 40% state)

  • opportunities for engagement  (74% SEEDS : 62% state)

  • opportunities for interaction (62% SEEDS: 55% state)

  • peer relationships (58% SEEDS: 47% state)

  • quality academic support (75% SEEDS: 65% state)
