The SEEDS KND Elementary After School program offers free programming to students between kindergarten and fifth grade. At KND, students love to focus on STEM projects (science-technology-engineering-math). They learn through robotics, snap circuits, recycled engineering projects, dry ice, and more!
KND students also enjoy going on field trips. Already in the 2017-18 school year, the program took them to Marlin's Wild Animal Safari and Corn Maze. Kids got the chance to feed llamas, camels, goats, and even a kangaroo. They also got to jump around in a pit of shelled corn (it was a total blast) and walk through a cage of hundreds of parakeets, that loved to perch on everyone's heads.
Transportation is available at the end of programming each day. Contact the site coordinator for more information.
