SEEDS is Hiring After School Support Staff

Will work as part of the SEEDS After School team at Manistee Middle and High School and CASMAN Academy

Responsibilities:
We are looking for people who are excited to engage in experiential programming with Middle School or High School youth – and their families. Support Staff will be directed by a school Site Coordinator to help create and implement high quality after school programming four days/week. Programming is offered through a combination of staff instruction and guest instructors. This position requires the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances. It also requires absolute respect for the students we serve as well as their families, faculty, staff and community members.

Typical tasks include but are not limited to:

• Creating high quality programming in alignment with student need.
• Recruiting students to the program.
• Supervising classrooms.
• Collecting data.
• Nurturing connections with school staff, participating students, their families, program partners/providers, other program sites, and evaluators.

Particulars:

• Part-Time Position 10-25 hours/week. Wage dependent on experience. Includes benefits.
• Located primarily in Manistee County; some regional travel may be required.
  • May need to work evenings and weekends on occasion.
  • Requires familiarity with Word, Google, and internet applications.
• Position requires standard school background and health checks and clean driving abstract.
