Summer Camp at KHS

SEEDS KHS Summer Adventure Series

Adventure Awaits!

KHS Summer Camp Brochure

SEEDS Summer Adventure Series is for all Kalkaska High School students who want to explore the natural world, while learning how to grow as caring, compassionate citizens.

Students in the SEEDS Summer Adventure Series will still be learning, but it will look much different than the school-day classroom. Students will be exploring local areas during daily field trips, asking their own questions and searching for the answers. They will expand their knowledge of our local lands, people and animals in fun and adventurous ways.

We will also learn how we can make a difference by offering to help at local community gardens and parks, and through interaction with community members and local organizations.

When, Where, What and How...

Programming will run from 9 am - 3 pm, Mondays through Thursday, starting on June 17th and ending August 1st. Breakfast and lunch will be served every day. We will meet at the SEEDS KHS room before heading off-site on various adventure trips.
