SEEDS After School at Brethren High School

Brethren SEEDS After School has a variety of programs available for students and is continually looking for new ideas.

All programs begin with an hour of homework help, which allows students to finish current or late homework. Each SEEDS staff person has a subject specialty and is available to help the students with their work.

Our fearless leader and Brethren HS SEEDS Site Coordinator is Ben Parsons.

Current Clubs include:

• Anime with Kimberly Evans - Mondays  
  • Read Manga, discuss Manga, view Anime, and discuss Anime! It's Anime madness!
• Weight Training with Cameron Winright - Monday thru Thursday
  • Get your own Physical Fitness Plan, improve your physique, get ready for football, basketball, wrestling, or your sport of choice!
• Homeward Bound Visit with Kimberly Evans - Wednesday
  • Volunteer at the shelter; walk dogs and play with cats!
• Credit Recovery with Mr. Shearer - Monday thru Thursday
  • Work to make up any missing credits, work towards your graduation!
• Culinary Club with Chef Tarrah - Monday and Tuesday
  • Support local farms and markets by using locally grown or farmed supplies.
  • Learn how to prepare delicious healthy meals; then devour them!
• Variety Time with Dan Smith - Wednesday and Thursday
  • Fishing (weather permitting).
  • Sledding or other winter games.
  • Play various sports: ultimate frisbee, basketball, flag football, dodge ball, etc.
  • Get your game on while playing the Wii, Play Station 2, cards, or paper football!
• Art Club with Mrs. Mobley - Mondays
  • Work on various projects, explore different artistic styles, and add beauty to your world!
• Art Club 2.0 with Kimberly Evans - Tuesdays
  • Need to finish an art project? Spend time in Art 2.0!
  • Create various crafts, and learn about recycled fashion!
• Ski Club 2012 with Kimberly Evans - Thursdays (through March 8th)
  • 40 lucky Middle and High School students signed up to join SEEDS at Caberfae Ski Resort each Thursday through March 8th.
• Homework Help with all SEEDs staff - Monday thru Thursday

  • Get support to finish your homework!
