This year SEEDS is pleased and proud to have a program dedicated exclusively to Benzie Central’s middle school students. SEEDS After School strives to create an environment in which students can make new friends, learn new skills, succeed academically, and have fun!
Programs are held Monday-Thursday starting right after school and lasting until 6pm. ALL of our programs are FREE! We also provide free Benzie Bus rides for students who need a way to get home. Students who wish to stay for our programs must have all the required paperwork in, and they must sign up by noon on the SEEDS room door in order to get a Benzie Bus ride.
Sample Daily Schedule:
2:45-3pm Snack/Free Time
3-3:30pm Homework Help/Study Lounge
*Tutoring also available
3:30-6pm Activities including (but not limited to) ultimate frisbee, arts and crafts, boxing, writing club, ping pong, capture the flag, ice skating, ice fishing, girls group, photography, and volunteering at the animal shelter. Students with ideas for programs are encouraged to share them with us!
